We went here for a late dinner and the service and food were both great! Portions are large, and the beans, salsas, and carnitas were all highlights!

Cute mexican place with healthy dishes. Fajitas were filled with fresh veggies. Portion size were big. They have a huge outdoor seating. Chips & salsa could have been complimentary. Very sweet server & fast service.

Went last week. I had Laguna Seca Toothpicks. Pretty much a flauta, but large deep fried flour tortillas. They were pretty long. Came with a little guacamole, sour cream and pico. There was also avocado creama, I think and habanero sauce to dip. I substituted the habanero sauce for their mango pineapple sauce. I would definitely reorder. My friend tried it and was sorry she didn't order them. It's an appetizer, but plenty to fill you up.

There's no better post hike place in Carmel than Baja Cantina. They offer stuff drinks to help quench your thirst and giant plates to get you full. The servers are quick with the chip refills and their chips are top notch. They put a special seasoning on them that puts them above your run of the mill restaurant chip. There is something for everyone on the menu. On the latest visit we were starved and shared a giant plate of carnitas nachos. At $16 with a couple beers we got in and out (and full!) for less than $30. I also highly recommend the Cattlesman burrito, blackened burrito and the Chile Verde.
